    2D Paint App
    Deep Paint 2
    4.6/5

First off, I am not near experienced enough with this app to even be giving it a rating, however this said, Deep Paint 2 is one which I instantly took a liking to... Great paint app as a plugin, or standalone, tons of options, and while it might be missing some other important 2D editing options, and perhaps even some newer paint options found within other apps, for free, Deep Paint 2 is a fantastic time waiting to be realized

    Availor,

The list was compiled over time at another forum (member suggestions). This was simply a copy and paste.

As I said, it was compiled over a year ago, so perhaps some apps now cost a penny or two? (I have no idea?) However, as a basis for good list, I'm sure it will do the trick. I've only tried a few - loved Apophysis - great fun, and very addictive.

i guess i can post this here. it has nothing to do with graphics, i just redid my system and i really didnt like nortons antivirus it wasnt catching much of anything and was to much fluff and when i went to ms to get their anti spyware they reccomended some anti virus programs and this one is free has a 14 month renewel for registration and is still free as long as you renew it. it is called avast! and you you can find it here avast! it is 100x better then any other virus program i have seen. it has stopped toolbars from installing and browser hijacking. it has caught a trojan that was emailed to me from a friend that had infected his address book. my spyware programs have litterly nothing to catch anymore. it is a great freebie check it out it is worth looking into if your subscriptions are up and dont feel like paying for one anymore.

Forgot to mention the "multi tools":
    http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/
Contains Free Desktop publisher (very good I might add with many free templates which are quite good), a simple vector graphics, a very simple 3D, a very simple photo retouching program and a website publishing. Personaly, I always carry their software on a "tools" disc. In case I need to travel to some company's office, and they don't have any of the software I need, I can always install it since it's a freeware. Helped me many times already.
