Default Star with an upward point

hi.sorry for my english i know it veeeery little but i cant find what i need in russin((.
Im not sure its right to ask there but i don't know where it's right((
Ill try to de understandable as i can.

    My promblem:
I use xara3d6.I have choiced the object (StarXar2) in design options.
I can handly rotate it only horizontaly or verticaly ,but i cant do this in third direction(((
The text can be rotated so,and the object(starxar2) can be rotated so but only during the animation...

The star Im talking about has a six external(?) corners, and I want one corner will be directed precisely(?) up.(as a David'a Star or sheriff's star)
It must be any way to do this anyway))
    You are my last hope.
If you not understood me,say please what particularly you had not understood
abd I try to explain one more time.
Its so important for me to do now i'm talking about, that I wrote this text almost half an hour)))
    thanks

Hello, OneTimeOnly, welcome to the forum. You want a star shape, with one of the arms pointing straight up? Is it because the StarXar2 shape does not have an upward pointing arm that you want to rotate it to make one of the arms point upwards?

If you had a star with an arm pointing straight up, do you then want it to do anything else, like spin around the vertical (y) or horizontal (x)axis, or contain text? You can almost certainly do what you want, but not necessarily by starting with this StarXar design. If you could explain what you want to end up with, we can then help better.

    Hello.thanks for a quick answer.

Sorry,I was not completely correct in my previous post.
The head question is how rotate an object in vertical plane (mmm...as a wheel).

    All What I want:
1)A star with six arms.( i was incorrect in#95 post:it must not be like david's star. It must be symmetric by vertical line, every two corner must be situated on one horizontal line )
2)The liter "H" must be on this star.
3)The object must ping around vertical axis.(animation)
4)Save it as a very little gif.

I tried to attach a simple example how the first frame of animation have to be.

OTO, find attached star with the correct orientation. You should be able to colour it and apply the "H" as a bitmap texture.

Orientation of the previous attached star is correct.
I made mistake in a first post and topicname is incorrect))
The attached picture of THIS post is how star is oriented in xara default.

I can do all i want in xara by one minute, except orientation of an object(((
If the star may be free rotated as a wheel in animation it MUST be rotatable as a wheel handly I think.

    Hello OneTimeOnly,

You can use Xara Xtreme to create shapes for use in Xara3D6.

You can copy to the clipboard a shape created in Xara Xtreme then switch to Xara3D6 and paste the shape into the work area.

You can download a trial version from http://www.xara.com/us/downloads/xtreme/

    thanks)))your advices are very useful
and the last question ,sorry for offtopic(i have started this topic in Noob's forum ,moderator replaced it there))

How can i make a background in my animation invisible (gif).Or I have to use some other editor after 3dxara for this?
I have read somewhere that in a gif files the color of the lowermost left pixel is
    recognised as invisible by default.
But on the website i want to upload my gif it does not works..

Sorry if the question is stupid.I'm really noob,Its first time for me to work with animation,gifs,xara,etc...

For a transparent background, in the Export dialog put a tick in the Transparent option checkbox. See attached image.
