    Hi,
    Seems that it is a type of chain for a pulley system, used for what I am not sure.

    I don't have mine in the backyard anymore, so I can't cheat and take a look. From memory, though, it looks like the chain that used to be used on swing sets to attach the seats.

    Newer swing set chain looks different, sort of like a swiveled 'S' design that is supposedly more kid safe. Who knows? I remember having to get scissors to cut my sister's hair from the swing set chain when they became entangled.

    I believe I know.
    It is something that people use every day, but never see.
    Something that people wouldn't be aware of unless they had to fix it.
    It is the flapper chain which lives in the toilet tank.

    it's a toilet chain from overhead cistern type bog!
