    Default Red Gradient Brushes

Here are some brushes I made based upon a simple
    red gradient rectangle.

This is odd. After posting the last image, I reopened
the xar file and noticed that the original xar file has
altered the brush colors, muting the colors, the white.
Has anyone noticed such a change between the xar
file and the original captured image ? Or is this just
    occuring on my machine ?

I'm sorry, Mike. I don't know what the heck happened.
I can't get the "original" (with distinct variation between
red and white) to look as I first made it.

I feel like Charlie Brown with the "kite eating" tree.

Yes Ken. When I open it up it also displays the muted colours. Very strange!
I tried altering the Linear fill on your shapes so they didn't extend to the extreme edges of the shapes. Created a new brush and it gave a similar effect to your original. Closed & reopened the file and the new brush retained it's Red/White gradient.

Try this Ken. Just check out the gradient fill in the BOXED shape.

Thank you, Egg. I tried your variation but I'm still
    getting a muted result.

    I welcome anyone's modifications/improvements.

I'll play with this some more tommorrow; it's been a
    long day and I'm a bit brain-fried.

    Later ... Ken
