Designer Pro Improvements suggestions

Xara Designer is such a well designed and productive tool, I use it everyday and appreciate it's simple and logical workflow.


It would be nice to see some improvements on the warp tool and object snapping.

The Warp tool could use some subdivisions and work on bitmaps.

Object snapping should prioritize intersections and snap to the real center of the line when there is ambiguity.



As suggested elsewhere, rounded corners, vector flood fill, editable line width and vector color adjustments would be extremely useful and productive.

xara are no longer there, they are away with the fairies of web and print, successfully be it said for now at least

but I wish you luck, it would be nice, although having affinity, and with xara subscription now being the only option, I would not upgrade, why would I ?

What a quality Thread, coherent discussion and not a single Xara staffer in sight - oops.

to be fair occasionally Gerry, Luke or Charles would chip in to advise on existing aspects of the software... but no comment on feature requests, that does not change it seems...

Oh boy ! indeed this goes back a long way.

Still hoping though, a lot the work is already done with the Art brush tool in order to implement mould improvement and line thickness edition.
