Google still seeing old links for site.

Hi there, maybe not a xara issue but Google is still picking up links from my old site. I deleted everything before updating with new site using Pro 11. New stuff is being picked up so I assume the site as been trawled, crawled or whatever it is. How long would you normally have to wait, when I've done this before its only took a couple of days. Updated site 11 days ago, links to Gallery 1 and others still appearing but no longer there. Any help would be appreciated. Want to use google search on the main page but cant till it stops picking up deleted pages. Have used the google webmaster controls to delete pages but still no good.

Unfortunately even when you use webmaster tools to remove urls it can still take time, and google are very secretive about how long it takes, I had this same problem a few months back and it took 3 weeks or so, other times it has taken a few days. Make sure that you change the sitemap by re-submitting. In case you haven't seen it here's a page that could help as well. https://support.google.com/customsea.../2631051?hl=en
