My eye dropper tool isn't picking up colors on the piece I've been working on. It works fine on new files and other drawings but not on mine..
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you so much if you can help me^^

Hi,
Considering I don't know where you're using the Dropper tool, it's hard to say if you're doing anything wrong and if so, what it might be.
Try using File > Clone and using the Dropper tool on the Clone to see if that works.
Good luck!

I have had a few occasions in the past where the eye dropper wouldn't select certain areas of my image (tho I haven't had the problem in a long while). And I came to the conclusion that the file itself had been corrupted some how. So I saved it to .psd instead of .riff and reopened it and that seemed to sort it out. Saving it back to a .riff wasn't a problem.
However I couldn't say that this is what your problem is. I think this occurred using version IX. Can't remember it happening in X.
Thanks for the advice guys.
Saving it to a Photoshop file worked perfectly
Now I can finally finish my art
