This is not a logo, however I was playing around with this idea for a vector graphic.

    Hi laser1—

I don't see how this artwork can be used for the project here, but I must say that it's a terrific piece of artwork!

The sheer complexity is glamorous, and I like that "art" is suggested within "Xart".

    Perhaps we're all xARTists?

Exceptionally well thought out and rendered!

    I love your art, Frank!

    It's superb.

Sad to say, though, that when XaReg was posted in a different thread, Steve or John had the idea of using the Registry cube and darkened 5 tiles on one side to suggest an "X".

Me, I'd like to go boldly where no artist has gone before, not my call however.

You did a fantastic effect for others to study with the feathered shapes making the highlights!

    ok, thanks for that
it was really a study of making the cube using perspective and the 3d tool
if they've already chosen a logo i might have a try at the gui

I hadn't seen that. Can you point me to it?

If I have a vote, I'd stay away from copying someone else's competing product artwork. Not only is it bad form, but we have dozens of innovative designs right here on this thread that satisfactorily bind Xart (the program) to outstanding member imagery.

I see. Hadn't noticed that image. But the cube as registry concept actually comes from MS RegEdit.
