There are 52 AVI's, all together 152 MB. Unless you have a seriously wide datapath to Xara's webserver I'd suggest you'd download them ... Better to have it on CD.
Kevin
If you purchased Xara 2 from i/us, you can access the movies in the Insider Area when Chris D. has recreated them.
I see you live in Goleta. My brother and his wife live there.

Michael, my dsl will be up soon, do you have
a link at xara where I can actually download
the movies??
Small world Gary! :-) I've probably stood
behind them at starbucks and didn't even know
it.
My other solution to the movies thing is a nice
gal at Xara named barbara says she has a Xara1.5
disk laying around that she will send me (but I'd
rather have the 2.0 version movies)
Also I asked about upgrade pricing and she said
there will be, but does not know the price yet.
Kevin
I shot myself already in the foot in this forum by giving away a link to a "spare" copy of CorelXara2 to someone dire in need of a replacement for his lost CD ... If there would be a link it would probably point to my own website, but getting precatious by experience, I'm not very inclined to place those AVI's without written consent from someone at Xara. Which brings me to your remark about DSL; I do have ADSL, which is very fast indeed, but that's an A from Asynchronous ... Putting those file on the Net would take a good part of the day. Though ADSL is cheap, (We don't have to pay per Mb traffic here in The Netherlands, it's a flat rate of aprox. $45 p/m! for 512/64Kb/s down/up), it would choke my connection. And I'd prefer to keep that open in case Xara surprises us by releasing X early Xeptember!!
Hello Kevin,
I believe the same movies are on both discs. In other words there is no difference! You can also use the fills, fonts and clipart that are on the disk...
