Often when switching programs in painter IX.5 I get this window:
"Do you really want to convert this large private scrap to clipboard"
Quite annoying...
Is there anyway to disable this window?
Regards,
Marc

No way to disable it that I know of.
That window pops up when we've copied something in Painter, then leave Painter to go to another program. It's only annoying if we don't need it. It would be more than annoying if we needed to keep something on the clipboard in order to paste it into another program and found the clipboard copy was gone.
On the other hand, if we don't need whatever was copied to the clip board, the pop up window gives us the opportunity to clear the clipboard.
You'll get used to it in time.

so effectively it is saying:
'do you want to clear the clipboard before you leave'
thanks Jinny - I'd always sorta guessed that was what it meant, nice to be sure

Nothing lasts forever...
I keep getting the same message, whenever I start to highlight an image with the lasso tool. First the screen goes white and freezes until I remove the pen from the tablet, and then I get the message!
Can anyone help with this?
Thanks
