    Hello !!!

My computer had a little physical crash last week (perhaps too much erosion on my disk) and I wasn't able to send my tutorial about 3D eroded texture (but while my machine was out I have spent my time to put my little private office room in order, ...four days for about the same number of years of disorder ...!)

That should be possible to send the tutorial this week end. But while I rediscovered Xara X after a so long time I was surprised by another kind of texture, painted and eroded without use of any bitmap copy (in my previous eroded bevel I used some copies for transparencies). I send the file in my reply, for curious people.

Again all my apologies for the long delay!

Ivan - I can hardly wait for the tutorial. I disected the dot-xar file and I think I know what's going on but it would be great to see your instructions.

I've attached a rusty version I created from yours. The background was created in xara too with the help of some bitmap effects.

Ivan I suggest you should look carefully at the technique I (and others) wrote about here and here.

    Best Regards, Ross
