In XX, I drew a more detailed object for a clipview. I thought it was much easier, and produced a smooth edge. I made the clipview, and exported the selection to PNG with alpha. When I reopened the file in XX, it had retained the tansparency. I opened the file in elements, and it showed a transparent background. I clicked the background with the automask, and got an image mask with holes. Rich

That is a good way to drop out a background, but a very labor intensive one. With the clipping path you might also be able to add a tiny amount of feathering to soften the edge.

I have been thinking about making extracting more flowers, and making brushes from them. Rich
