A Butterfly Brush. Rich
The wings are in the down condition. Just happened to be the way I found it. Rich
Hi Rich,
Cool scans... Will make some awesome brushes.
If you are into scanning insects I have a couple flies I squished the other day, I could toss them in an envelope and mail ya... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
I thought these looked good for a canidate for a brush or two. The butterfly had complete wings on one side. Another road accident I found on a walk. I scanned the wings at 1200 DPI and extracted them in X1. Rich
Very cool Bugs Rich!
Thanks John,
This was photographed in the shed using a halogen lamp. Scanning doesn't get the same lighting effect.
Egg,
Good to see you could use the wings for a brush.

The top and bottom wings filled back into the objects. I was trying to keep the file size down. Rich
This was the direction I was heading. These butterflys don't land very often, and when they do, it is only for a second. They are difficult to get close to, also. My idea was to create butterflys in various flying conditions by adjusting the wings. Since the wings are different from from to back, I needed four wing images and a body. I adjusted a clipview of another shot for this composition. Rich
Makes a great brush Rich
Thanks
