Design Gallery Folder sort

Hi all,,

Probably a stupid question, but here it goes....

How can I sort the folders alphabetically in the Design Gallery. There must be an easy way to do this, but I don't see how.

Hi Big Rick,

Download XaReg from the XaraXone Shareware page.

Unzip the XaReg.exe to a folder on your hard drive.

Double click the program's icon to run XaReg.

Select the program you want to sort the Design Gallery.

Click on the Tools menu in XaReg.

Click Design/Clipart Gallery.

To sort alphabetically click the Gallery Name column header. A second click with reverse the sort order.

When you have the names sorted as you want, click the Write List button. This writes the list into the registry and updates the other registry entries related to it.

When you run Web Designer or Xtreme and open the Design Gallery it will be sorted as you made it in XaReg.

Any idea as to why Xara hasn't made this a feature within the application?

Glad to be of help.

No idea about why Xara hasn't included something like that in the program. Each new release has included more options than previous versions. Perhaps a gallery sort will be in a future version.
