    I open this new topic to reply to a question included into Merry Christmas one, because this tip may be interesting for all !!!

    -Select your shape (or group of shapes);
    -Click on Button and Navbar tool;
    -check number of buttons, direction bar, button spacing;
    -click on create;
    -select all (Ctrl-a) and cut (Ctrl-x);
    -open layer gallery and delete one of the two layers;
    -click on paste at the same place;
    -select all if not done;
    -open a second time Button and Navbar tool;
    -repeat the same operation than above but with the other direction (vertical if horizontal);

    Then you may use ClipView

    Good one Ivan!
    Another way is to do blends at rightangles, grouping in between the two operations. If you attach to staight lines you can adjust the distance between your objects. Clip view is just great!
