Does anyone know if webdings font is installed on all computers?
I have been using symbolic fonts a lot because I find it easier
than creating buttons in my flash files.

It's installed on mine and I don't think I installed it, because I never use it.

Webdings is a font developed by Microsoft. It started shipping as an integral part of IE-4, and has been included in all later versions.
I'm sure there are some computers that don't have it, but probably not very many!

Thanks Anders
That article said wingdings should NOT be used in Html.
I agree with that. Does anyone know about flash files?
Now I'm also thinking about MAC and webdings.
Could anyone clear all this up concerning flash files.
The info in the article on Webdings is certainly worth reading.
The list of Win XP fonts may be misleading. It includes international fonts that may be installed only when you select an associated language, perhaps when you install XP or perhaps if you change your language preference in XP's Regional and Language Options. (It's not something I'm willing to test right now.
I'm sure there's someone around here who knows more about it than I do. Here's a link to a list that has a bit more explanation:

It's possible that it comes with Windows XP. That's the storage folder I have it in, and I'm pretty sure I put copies of all the XP fonts there as a reference.
