    No contour used for the inner colors of the letters. Only a 24 bit bitmap copy based on one black text and one feathered white clone of the same. The bitmap was colorized with two colors and "Alt Rainbow" setting.

    A tutorial soon!

    Enjoy,

    ivan

    1 Type a black letter;

    2 clone it and apply white color, feathering and fractal clouds transparency to the clone;

    3 add any object you want (better if feathered) and create a non transparent 256 color bitmap copy with a high definition (300 dpi);

    4 delete your white objects;

    5 keeping your letter selected, open the bitmap gallery, select the bitmap you have just created and click on "fill";

    6 open the color tool and change the black and white of the filling into two colors, then select Alt Rainbow in "fill effect" slider
    TIP: at this step you can play with fill profiles to obtain very different effects!

    7 Create a clone and apply two different colors and a strong feathering;

    8 put your latest clone above the previous (7 above 6);

    9 give a fractal clouds transparency to the clone 7;

    10 ad an external bevel to clone 7, click on the bevel only and give it a flat fill (here blue grey);

    11 add a wall shadow to clone 7 with about 1 pixel blur, 25 % transparency, 1 pixel right and below;

    12 add wall shadow to clone 6 with a wider blur, 50 % transparency, 5 pixels right and below;

    13 add a white copy of 1 with a strong feathering;
    14 move it up and left;

    15 add transparency.

    Enjoy,

    ivan

    The .xar file of the first image:

    There are some other characteristics to discover in it, like the superposition of two beveled objects with a semi-transparent bevel and a slightly different light orientation for the upper one!

    Enjoy it,

    ivan
