Just trying to combine a new technique with those previously described. Again no use of plug-ins; only different transparency settings, fills, shadows and of course profiles.
Only one alterated bitmap copy is added to the first picture.

    Enjoy,
    ivan

    Thanks Gary.

I find plants in general give very interesting structures to work on and to learn with them. I will provide a mini-tutorial about this one here soon.

    Kind regards,
    ivan

Very beautiful Ivan. The bud and the flower behind the main rose looks like they are moulded relief on perhaps a ceramic background. Then the main rose and the bottom one seems have broken free of the non organic back ground and came to life perhaps from a magic spell. Does that make sense?

I like your words, Judi. That remember me a nice text in an old russian science fiction book. It was about a living transparent lotus found in a cavern in central Asia by some scientifics. It was said to be a remedy to a lot of diseases but when they brought it outside to the daylight it was burned by the sun.

    Kind regards,
    ivan
