Those are beautiful flowers Bill. I like the rays of light you have. Did you just draw them from memory ?

Hi Bill, nice flowers. I have yet to try my hand at the old flower. I was looking at some Georgia O'Keefs flowers the other day and thought maybe I should give it ago. Take care Tao
Bill
The outlines on the stems and leaves detract from an otherwise lovely image. (IMHO of course)

Jess
..Jess! As a painter, I sorta see things from that kind of application. One of my styles in painting is using oils 'in pasto', with scumbling etc. I
am glad you enjoyed it. Always willing to help,it
I can.

... are working hard, I see.
Great bunch of posts there, Bill! The lithograph look was very interesting. I think that the bevel tool on the tracer output tend to get very busy... you sort of get lost in all the things happening to care about what is being presented to you.
Your Canarios look good and the sunlight running through the picture adds a little something.
It's tricky using lines... the do add defition to the subject but they tend to make the picture look cartoonish. There are some lovely colours happening in the flowers and the composition looks great.
Perhaps the illustration would look even better if you went one way - meaning, all lines or no lines?
You have a great memory for such an old geezer!
Bill, your posts are always a pleasure, keep up the good work!
Risto
..nice,Risto. I am so happy that a goal has been reached, sort of. I become more sure of X and what it can produce. I know now that I don't have to be using 'plug-ins'. One of the tools that is attracting me is the Shape Tool. I'm sure there's quite lot to be gotten there...but, I guess I'm saying the same thing for the others.
Risto, your tips really opened my mind to the Tracer Tool...thank you.
Hey..what's with a "geezer" like you...OK,I accept..no problem...
