..nice,Risto. I am so happy that a goal has been reached, sort of. I become more sure of X and what it can produce. I know now that I don't have to be using 'plug-ins'. One of the tools that is attracting me is the Shape Tool. I'm sure there's quite lot to be gotten there...but, I guess I'm saying the same thing for the others.
Risto, your tips really opened my mind to the Tracer Tool...thank you.

Hey..what's with a "geezer" like you...OK,I accept..no problem...

Those are beautiful flowers Bill. I like the rays of light you have. Did you just draw them from memory ?

Hi Bill, nice flowers. I have yet to try my hand at the old flower. I was looking at some Georgia O'Keefs flowers the other day and thought maybe I should give it ago. Take care Tao

Bill

The outlines on the stems and leaves detract from an otherwise lovely image. (IMHO of course)

...Soquili/Steve...glad you liked them. As a painter for many years, ones observation becomes keener..We have these flowers around house etc.and I have studied and painted them so much it's not hard to memorize them. Using a computer art prog such as X is really a challenge..trying to immulate "oils in pasto"..becomes a real head banger. I have been trying to get a "lithograph" look, too. I posted something more or less..That's why this Forum is really a Great-Great! Always learning...Thanks guys.
