Really cool neato-stuff happening there Bill! The only thing distracting from an otherwise stunning piece is the sky/water treatments that look wrong beveled. Simplify them and you've got a real portfolio piece.

Your bevel experiments are getting more exciting!

    Regards, Ross

..Ross. Glad you are seeing my objecto of concentrating on those tools. I tried different bevels for all the areas...what do you suggest for the ones you mentioned?

Must say I agree with Ross' point tho. I don't know if your starting image was a scanned image, with parts removed? The small shapes in the tree's look natural with the small bevels but the Sky and Sea with their large shapes and bevels look un-natural. I'd really enjoy seeing an updated version.

I hope you did'nt mind but I've messed about with your image to give it an alternative background to reduce the large bevels. I'm no good at this type of art but I think removing the large bevels ties the image in more.

...Egg! Hey,that looks pretty neat. I don't know too much about this either. What I had in mind is to try and get a 'lithograph' look to it. Lithographs have their raised/lower colors etc.
Oh,well, see what I can do. Thanks for suggestion!

Puerto Rico was part of the USA? Is it really? Can you tell me how it came to be? I'm not a history major. Obviously it started out a Spanish colony...

I love your image too, of course.
