Logo Design ($ Award for Assistance)

Great work everyone! It is nice to see all of the logos. I don't even care if I win, it is just fun to have a challenge here. This is the biggest one I have seen in a while. I look forward to seeing more and I will try to get some more this weekend. I think that Shane will find something he likes and get his moneys worth!

So far I have to say that Xander is about the closest to what I had imagined a logo to be. (That is in no way to say the others look bad) The purple one reminds me very much of JC Pennys though I'd have to check the law books on that one.. They aren't too busy, and have nice contrast.. And they are catchy enough that I think people in my area would remember the design.. And again thank you for all of the posts, keep them coming!

Gidgit, I wish I could help you out in that area, but I don't even know yet =P Since we are starting out we are going to be running out of my church basement for the first couple of months, then going to rent a studio.. (Very much still in the startup phase) I will literally be building the studio around the logo.. That's why anything goes for colors and such.

Bowling Green is just up the road a bit from where I work in Portland TN. So, we are practically neighbors. As I think of some ideas, I'll post them here.

Wow, I had no idea that I would have this many logos coming in. Thank you all for working on it. I don't know how you all ususally run your challenges, so correct me if this is off, but I figured I would leave this thread open for submitions until next Friday (July 25th) and then decide the winner. At this rate though, I am going to have about 500 logos to decide from =P (No complaints from here though) Once again thank you all for your help, and keep up the excellent work!

Jens, Bowling Green is right at 10 hours. I was just in the NC/SC area this past Nov - March. I spent 3 months on Parris Island in USMC Boot Camp, and then another 22 days at Camp Geiger NC for Marine Combat Training. (I only saw Charlotte at the airport right before the DI's snatched me up =P) No hard feelings about the barking though, I probably WOULD have done the same had someone wanted a $2 package =)

Good Morning again to everyone. First I would like to say that I am impressed by how friendly and helpful everyone has been here on this site. If I had the money and the time, I would give you all $50 and thank all of you personally for helping a guy out. Unfortunately I'm not worth millions (yet =P) so I had to choose a winner. My partner, my family, and everyone else I could invite over, gathered around my computer last night to decide a winner. It was very close between about 5 different posts. In the end, however, it came down to just one.

We've decided to go with a post by alexbozhenov.


Everyone agreed that this suites our style of business and will be memorable to our targeted group the best. It was a very tough decision though, and we want to thank everyone for their support. Now I realize some of you live in california or farther, so I apologize if this is of no use to you. When we move in to our new studio within the next few months, those of you who posted a logo will recieve an E-mail from me directly with a coupon for a free package from our studio.
