Rounded Corners - video tutorials for older versions of Designer?
Hi all, this is my first post, greetings from across the pond...
I'm wanting to round the corners of my images, I found more than a few youtube video tutorials but they seem to be based on older versions of Designer
for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXK5oX7ksaU put up by someone nicknamed ledgerpics, is exactly what I'm wanting to do, unfortunately the copy of Designer that I just downloaded does not seem to have a "Apply Clipview" anywhere in the "Arrange" menu
please help
Re: Rounded Corners - video tutorials for older versions of Designer?
if you have downloaded web designer that does not have clipview
clipview is in 'photo and graphic designer' and 'designer pro X' [and earlier versions of those]
Re: Rounded Corners - video tutorials for older versions of Designer?
Thanks, I just discovered that, I found a workaround in another person's post here in this forum.
I'm not "out of the woods" yet though, my newly rounded image is saving as a .web not a .jpeg
haven't figured out how to export the .jpeg for uploading to my wordpress blog
Re: Rounded Corners - video tutorials for older versions of Designer?
Just select your shape/s and go File/Export JPEG.

Drop your photo onto the page and then delete it. The photo will be retained in the program memory as long as the program remains open. Next create your rounded rectangle the size you need and with it still selected go to the fill tool and change the fill to bitmap and from the bitmap dropdown list at the top choose your photo.
